Verifying Operation
Once you have completed the tenant environment setup and activation in Common Setup Steps, verify that the environment you built is working correctly. Tenant login and verifying mail sending with mailpit are common to both configurations. Verifying load balancing applies only to the cluster configuration.
Tenant Login
-
Access http://127.0.0.1/imart/login from a browser.
-
Log in using the user code and password configured in Tenant administrator information during the tenant environment setup.
In the cluster configuration, you can also access each Resin instance directly in addition to accessing via Apache HTTPd.
- Resin1: http://127.0.0.1:8080/imart/login
- Resin2: http://127.0.0.1:8081/imart/login
Note: In environments with BASE_URL configured, the page may not display correctly when accessing Resin directly. For verification purposes, it is recommended to primarily use access via HTTPd (port 80).
Verifying Load Balancing
This section applies only to the cluster configuration.
When accessing via Apache HTTPd, you can verify which Resin instance (Resin1 or Resin2) a request was routed to by checking the access log of each Resin.
- Resin1 access log:
data/resin1/log/resin/access.log - Resin2 access log:
data/resin2/log/resin/access.log
-
Access http://127.0.0.1/imart/login from a browser.
-
Observe the access logs of both Resin instances and verify that accesses are distributed between Resin1 and Resin2.
Verifying Mail Sending with mailpit
mailpit is a test SMTP server that acts as the email destination for this environment. Emails sent can be viewed via the web UI at http://127.0.0.1:8025.
You can verify mail sending by creating and running a logic flow in IM-LogicDesigner, for example:
- Following the steps in intra-mart Accel Platform IM-LogicDesigner User Operations Guide - Create a new logic flow, create a new logic flow.
- Following the steps in intra-mart Accel Platform IM-LogicDesigner User Operations Guide - Place elements, click "Generic Task" - "Text Email" in the left pane of the "Logic Flow Definition Edit" screen to place the element.
- Following the steps in intra-mart Accel Platform IM-LogicDesigner User Operations Guide - Define sequence (draw lines), define the sequence in the order: "Start" → "Text Email" → "End".
- Following the steps in intra-mart Accel Platform IM-LogicDesigner User Operations Guide - Setting constants, create the following constants:
| Constant ID | Data Type | Value to Configure |
|---|---|---|
| FROM | string | Sender email address |
| TO | string | Recipient email address |
| SUBJECT | string | Subject |
| BODY | string | Email body |
- Following the steps in intra-mart Accel Platform IM-LogicDesigner User Operations Guide - Displaying the mapping settings screen, display the "Mapping Settings" dialog for the "Text Email" element you placed.
- Following the steps in intra-mart Accel Platform IM-LogicDesigner User Operations Guide - Set the mapping (draw lines), map the constants you created to the input values of the "Text Email" element.
| Input pane | Output pane |
|---|---|
| Constant FROM | from |
| Constant TO | to |
| Constant SUBJECT | subject |
| Constant BODY | body |
- Following the steps in intra-mart Accel Platform IM-LogicDesigner User Operations Guide - Show debug screen, display the debug screen (a dialog confirming you want to save the flow definition will appear; save the flow).
- Following the steps in intra-mart Accel Platform IM-LogicDesigner User Operations Guide - Performing debugging, execute the debug (in the "Execute Debug" dialog, leave all inputs empty and click the "Execute" button).
- Confirm that the flow completed successfully, then access the mailpit web UI at http://127.0.0.1:8025 and verify that the sent email has arrived.
Once you have completed verifying operation, you can, if needed, confirm that the environment can be stopped and restarted using the steps in Common Setup Steps.
