How to Use the Samples
Sample List
This category contains two complete sets of specifications for business applications built with IM-Workflow. Both can be used as input examples when having an AI agent generate business applications.
| Sample | Directory Name | Business Content |
|---|---|---|
| Leave Request (IM-Workflow) | leave-request-prompt | Requests for annual paid leave and half-day paid leave, with two-stage approval by a supervisor and the HR department |
| Purchase Request (IM-Workflow) | purchase-of-goods-prompt | Purchase requests, approved by a department manager (and additionally by the accounting department for high-value requests), followed by order placement by the purchasing department |
The entry point for each sample is its specification. You can reach them from the Leave Request specification and the Purchase Request specification.
Document Structure
Each sample consists of four documents.
- Specification (
01-specification): The document that describes the overall specification of the business application, including the overview, target users, user stories, functional requirements, non-functional requirements, screen field definitions, and data model - Content Definition (
02-content-definition): The document that describes screen definitions, user programs, and notification definitions - Flow Definition (
03-flow-definition): The document that describes function settings, flow groups, and function policies - Route Definition (
04-route-definition): The document that describes node definitions, processing authority plugins, and processing flow
The content definition, flow definition, and route definition documents each elaborate on the corresponding section of the specification, and this is stated explicitly at the beginning of each document. Some content, such as the matter properties table, appears in both the specification and each definition document.
Download Materials
Each sample's specification page opens with a "Download Materials" section, which provides a zip file bundling all four documents together, along with links to the individual files for each document.

- Purchase Request: purchase-of-goods-prompt.zip
Relationship to the Generation Examples
The artifacts an AI agent generates when given these two samples as input can be seen in the tutorial's Generation Examples.
